For this collaboration with Carriage House Motor, we drew from four Hampton Jolly colorways, pairing vibrant pastel fronts with crisp white backs as a nod to the cars' painted tires and fabric canopies.

The one‑piece mahogany neck with its velvet finish feels broken‑in from the first touch, and the asymmetrical radius paired with the Powers Electric Carve profile makes the entire neck feel natural and predictable under the hand. Honduran rosewood on both the fingerboard and peghead veneer adds warmth and a classic visual continuity, while jumbo frets and the continuous‑contour Delrin nut keep bends smooth and intonation stable. The white pearloid guard and machined aluminum hardware give the guitar a clean, purposeful aesthetic that pairs well with the pastel finish.

The PF42 Partial Faraday pickups bring out the A‑Type’s brighter, punchier voice; quick attack, clear top end, and a focused midrange that cuts without getting harsh. They’re expressive and dynamic, especially for players who lean into articulation and clarity. Paired with the CamTail vibrato system, the guitar keeps chords and bends locked together with impressive tuning stability. This A‑Type feels fast, responsive, and unmistakably modern as it's bold two-tone finish.
